Alta Loma Music Trivia

Alta Loma is home to long time music retailer Alta Loma Music. Alta Loma Music has offered lessons and full-line retail to California’s Inland Empire for more than 30 years. Alta Loma Music has recently been acquired by Music and Arts Center, a subsidiary of Guitar Center Inc. owners, Pete and Genette Gamber, will remain on staff to ensure continuity and a link to the stores’ existing customers.

Dr. Strange Records is located in Alta Loma. Dr. Strange Records was started in 1988 in an effort for like minded people to get rare punk records for FAIR prices. The “Doc” turned his hobby into the biggest mail-order for punk in all the world, a record label (in 1989) and a store in California (opened in 1997).
